Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.

Looks like FixIt now works on Windows 10. I just ran it and it solved my issues!

Hi,

Thank you for the feedback, we appreciate your feedback and will work on it. Microsoft retired the Windows Installer CleanUp utility on June 25, 2010, due to conflicts with Office 2007.The Microsoft Fix It at http://support.microsoft.com/mats/Program_Install_and_Uninstall/ replaced it. But the fixit is only available for Windows 7 and Windows 8.
