Pros

I upgraded to a release 5 which failed to detect any access points. I was trying to upgrade from Broadcom n Rel. because a suspect networking problem was crashing my computer.
With Rel. I was able to detect and connect to the g radio at Mbps. Now it's my NVIDIA motherboard NIC that is suspect.

Cons

A seperate fix is required if detection of the n channel is broken.

Summary

It's the best upgrade from release Release 5 don't work.
