Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams

Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.

     That's a great question...and not one I'm adept at answering.  I'll have to check and see.  I will head over to Logitech's site and do that.

     I figured it out...it seems as though Windows Updates will occasionally reset all setting to "default" which means it doesn't recognize your speakers or other peripherals unless you set them as the new default.

Yes, indeed!  I reset the settings on Skype and on my computer for all other activities.
