  1. Although Skype works on Windows 7 without Service Pack 1, in some cases (depending on the configuration of the computer), without this update package Skype will not work properly. Therefore, take note that if necessary, you will have to install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7.
     
     
  2. If you have Windows 7 Service Pack 1 installed on your computer, you must install the Internet Explorer 11 browser (without it, in most cases there will be connection problems). In other cases, Skype for Windows 7 will work even with IE8.
