Hi,

I cannot use the WP8 SMD binary USB Downloader with my Samsung ATIV S to flash a rom.

I specify the wp8 and csc file, SMD detects my phone, the start button is enabled, but when i press Start nothing seems to happens (t.e the channel don't seem to open).

What i have checked is:
1) Try flashing on computers running from Windows XP to Windows 8.1, both 32 and 64 bit versions of the OS
2) All sorts of usb cables, including the ones that i received with my phone
3) As drivers, I'm using the Samsung ones "SamsungUSBDriver", but also tried the Windows provided and from the Zune Software.
4) Tried every version of the SMD Binary that i managed to find on the net

One thing that i have noticed is that the samsung driver inf file (WP8USBDownloader.inf) is using the signature:

USB\Vid_045E&PID_062B

But when i go to the Device Manager (when my phone is in download mode) the usb signature is:

USB\VID_045E&PID_062A

But nevertheless the driver is getting installed and I'm not sure if this is preventing the flash process to begin

Anyone has experienced an issues like this?
