this worked great on WIndows 10 on tell the last couple of months and now it closes out with no error message(s), just closes out, where can I find the close out report????

Impressive LOOKS only

Cons

Quality wise: It is a HUGE memory hog, painfully slow start up even stalls out other memory hogs like IE browser, and it tends to LOSE songs, especially those not specifically licensed to you.

Microsoft's Personal Privacy/Security Problem, since June 28, 2001, when they settled with the US antitrust suit. According to MS' own whistle blowers, to reduce their huge anti-trust fines, secretively agreed to include government spyware in ALL their products reporting pornography, pirated media, etc.

Summary

TOO MANY other better, more secure media players out there to even try this :(

Requires XP.

Summary

I need WMP-12 as I have WIN7. Some how my WMP-12 got corrupted and I now see that it is unavailable as a download.

LOL Fortunately it was NOT able to be installed :( You were spared.

Being a CIS degree and former certified MS product instructor, I have a better understanding of your true blessings :) It is a HUGE memory hog, painfully slow start up even stalls out other memory hogs like IE browser, and it tends to LOSE songs, especially those not specifically licensed to you.

comes in German instead of English and when I guessed at what it said it failed to load. My version doubled all the music in the library...2 of every song

Pros

Will not load to Windows7 Home Premium useless as is every other program that M/Soft puts out. All they want is for you to send them information so that they can try to fix it sometimes at a very high cost to the user.

Cons

No words can describe what I want to say.

Summary

As I stated first useless and it was about time that M/Soft put out something that worked right from the start.

Pros

Oh yeah, everything looks OK to start with nice album covers automatically downloaded.

Cons

After a while, it forgets some songs, or duplicates parts of albums, loses songs or whole albums and generally messes up your whole library. Also it tries to automatically "correct" or do things when you are manually entering in the correct information.

Summary

Totally unusable. I have lost songs I will have trouble getting again somewhere.

Pros

Starts up fast and plays most music files. And videos... even Quicktime MOV!

Cons

Not very many. Except the hidden menus and that live streaming is disabled by default. Not a fan of the Library idea either.

Stupid... it's that simple

Summary

There are at least fifteen songs on my computer, (yes, they're in my "Music Library" with all my other songs) that WMP can't see on it's own. If I double-click the song from Windoes Explorer, WMP plays it just fine. But if I open WMP and try to find the song, the player comes back with nothing.

You can't add a song to a playlist if the program can't see it on it's own.
